* WITI, www.witi.org -- Women in Technology International's own Web site features a host of useful career resources. Articles on professional development and career counseling can be found in the Career Center. The WITI 4 Hire section includes links to thousands of job listings and profiles of major employers.

* Women.com, www.women.com/career -- Women.com Networks and Hearst New Media & Technology join forces to present a massive repository of career information and resources. Among the many features are career search tools, question and answer columns from career experts, and articles on a wide variety of career issues.

* Advancing Women, www.advancingwomen.com -- Published by businesswoman Gretchen Glasscock, Advancing Women features news about women's issues, along with networking and career strategy tips. The Workplace area contains the in-depth paper Strategies to Advance Women in the Workplace, which examines workplace challenges.

* iVillage Career, www.ivillage.com/career -- Megasite iVillage.com offers a generous selection of career advice and resources. Included are articles on subjects such as acing the job interview, making a career change, and getting ahead at work. The site also features expert advice and more than one dozen message boards.

* CareerBabe, www.careerbabe.com -- Technology recruitment consultant Fran Quittel dishes out a delightful smattering of career advice mixed with humor and attitude. The site primarily focuses on career advice, but also contains useful features such as a tutorial on writing resumes.

* WomenCentral Career, womencentral.msn.com/women/career/default.asp -- This site, part of Microsoft's MSN.com network, offers some interesting career profiles and feature articles. The Community section contains five career-related message boards that delve into topics such as career advice and starting your own business. The Web Guide area provides links to additional resources on the Web.

* Career Women, www.careerwomen.com -- "Helping women achieve success in their careers and lives" is the motto of this content-rich site. The Up Close & Virtual section features interviews with industry experts, such as NetXposure's Kris Nolan, who describes what it's like to work in the technology industry.

* Digital Women, www.digital-women.com -- Web designer Rebecca Game has assembled an eclectic mix of tools, tips, and resources for women in business. The How To section features dozens of articles dealing with issues ranging from how to sell yourself to how to balance your time.

* Online Women's Business Center, www.onlinewbc.org -- This site, produced by the U.S. Small Business Administration, features comprehensive resources for running a business. The Technology Tower includes advice about doing business on the Web and about how to use the Internet as a research tool.

* Top 25 Women on the Web, www.top25.org -- San Francisco Women on the Web, a networking and professional development organization for women, offers profiles of 25 women who have found success on the Internet. Each profile includes an outline of contributions the person has made, along with a rundown of career highlights.
